There are bride and grooms who prefer to celebrate this party together, others leave this moment only for the bride, others who have the same party at two times to celebrate in both ways.
The Bar Tea is nothing more than a Bridal Shower for both, with guests on both sides and in a less feminine tone. The goal is the same: get together with friends and start setting up the trousseau.
Where did the bridal shower come from?
For those who do not know, the tradition comes from many decades ago to help the poorest women to have a dowry, a fundamental condition for getting a fiance at the time. When the bride's family did not have enough or no financial resources, friends and family would gather to obtain the money and utensils so that she could have the consent to marry.
The custom has crossed the centuries, spread to several countries and evolved, gaining other aspects such as, for example, the presence of men, who are super participatory in this event.
The party is one of the first celebrations before the big day and involves gifts, games and socializing among the most important guests for the couple.
And which party to choose?
If you are still unsure whether it will be for women only, for the couple or a mixture of the two parties, check out these digital invitations made to celebrate each of the events and make your choices!
