The monogram is usually the first element created by stationery. As it is independent, you can insert it in all other identity materials (such as Thássia Naves, who had hers embroidered on the dress) or it can be used to personalize products that will not even enter the party, but that will be part of the couple's life (and here it comes in again, with exclusive porcelains to their house - how good it is to have money, right? 😂).
It can have several styles and can also tell the story of the couple, bringing elements that identify them, such as the watercolour monogram models that we see a lot today.
I made a list of the main styles to help you choose the perfect monogram for this big day!
# 1 Classic
Classic monograms can be those with more traditional arabesques or in this more modern coat armor model (as in the second model in the image). It combines very well with classic grooms, who will have a party in style.
# 2 Romantic
Romantic monograms can be linked with classic or bohemian weddings. What characterizes them as romantic are the elements that complete them: floral, delicate foliage or, still, the famous heart. They also tend to have thinner lines.
# 3 Modern
Modern monograms always have a 'game' of letters that combine in an unusual way, which can be cursive, more geometric or a combination of the two.
# 4 Minimalist
Simple and chic, the minimalist monograms don't play with the letters, they just combine them in a clean and sophisticated way.
# 5 Watercolour
They can be linked to weddings of any style. What differentiates them from the rest is the technique, which brings a certain contemporaneity to the final result.
Watercolour monograms are increasingly used and can be minimalist (as in the first example) or more complete, bringing elements, dates and a little of the couple's history.
There are so many options, right? The cool thing is to always focus on what you both like and what translates you as a couple. Do not follow fashion, or what the people around you suggest. The more the monogram tastes like you, the more it will represent you!
