What are cliparts?
First, it is important to understand what cliparts are and what are their advantages.
Cliparts are collections of graphic elements, in high resolution and quality, which are used to create different products: personalized stationery, patterned fabrics, party items, felts, biscuits, wallpapers, invitations, among many others.
After purchasing on the site, you will receive in your email a link to download the images. That way, you will download the images in a compressed form and, when you unzip it, you will have all the elements organized in folders: single elements, compositions, prints, stationery… According to the availability of each collection.
Finally, you will have a multitude of items to decorate your products and your collections in a unique and special way.
How does the cliparts creation process work?
Cliparts follow a timeline and are released as needed by the business. You can place an order in our contact box, but they are not exclusive, so they are not made with a single deal in mind.
We think about the timelessness of the collections, the themes and, above all, the inspirations that the artist feels at the moment.
Step 1: References and moodboard
First, we think about the theme and the feeling we want to express with the collection. In this stage, we analyze what is in the market, but we respect, mainly, the style that Francy Atelier already has.
After all, I like delicate, passionate and content creations, so that many people can be enchanted by the collections.
Step 2: Watercolour creation
Right after the definition of the theme and the colour palette, we start the tests on paper. This is the most challenging and most enjoyable phase, as we bring the collection to life.
Step 3: Scanning and assembling the collection
The crucial step in creating a clipart, after all we are talking about a 100% digital product. Despite being handcrafted, this is where the clipart comes to life.
After the artwork on the papers is finished, we scan all the elements and assemble the collection.
While some collections have multiple steps, others are simpler and less elaborate. These needs eventually surface: sometimes I see the importance of creating a more complete collection; sometimes, the simple is what everyone is needing. As I have experience in creating collections for various companies, I follow the market's needs and, in this way, each collection has a different look.
Where to use Cliparts?
As we talked about at the beginning, you are free to use cliparts for various creations: patterned papers and fabrics, personalized stationery, invitations, tags, gift cards, to create physical products, as well as biscuits, felts, MDFs, etc.
You'll need an editing program to make the creations or at least knowledge of Power Point and Word to finish your artwork. Who wants to, always find a way! (LOL)
What are the prohibitions on the use of Cliparts?
As you can imagine, cliparts are not exclusive. Therefore, there are some limitations, so that everyone who makes the purchase has the same right.
First of all, it is forbidden to use the brand logo or mascot. It is not allowed to register any trademarks using our cliparts. Likewise, you may not use the files in digital products, in press conference items or in the creation of editorials, books and magazines.
On social networks, you can use it if your collection is linked to menus or artwork for promoting physical products. Arts linked to website or social media identities, such as brand face, are prohibited.
